Ravens sign CB Cassius Vaughn

He is likely just another camp body, but the Ravens have signed veteran corner Cassius Vaughn to a 1 year minimum salary deal.

Vaughn played last season for former Ravens Coaches Jim Caldwell and Teryl Austin. He started 5 games for the Lions, who also had an injury plagued secondary. The 27 year old Vaughn has played for 3 teams in his 5 years, and is 5``11 195 lb . As Brian McFarland tweeted, the contract is likely for the veteran minimum.

An UDFA, Vaughn has played for the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts in addition to the Lions. He has 142 tackles, seven interceptions (he returned two for touchdowns) and a forced fumble. In 2012, Vaughn started a  11 games for the Colts, tallying 66 tackles, nine passes defended and one interception. Last season for the Lions, he started five of 13 games, intercepted two passes and made 18 tackles.
