The Ravens are both kinda lucky and kinda cursed. They feature three rookies in this year's NFLPA Rookie Premiere. First round wide receiver pick Breshad Perriman, tight end Maxx Williams and running back Javorius Allen were all invited to attend the event that will feature more than 40 of the NFL's top rookies.
The event will see them miss the first wave of OTAs sadly. However, it is quite an honor when you think that the three rookies are the among most of any team in the league to be invited.
The Rookie Premiere will give the young players information to assist them in their development of their professional careers and personal brands. It will help teach them more about proper investing, player rights, as well as introduce them to the NFLPA license partners and help facilitate licensing deals for the players. This type of development will help Williams, Perriman and Allen all become better players off the field and hopefully avoid the pitfalls that come with sudden fame and fortune.
In addition to all the business seminars and that side of it, the Rookie Premiere will have the rookies get their trading card photo shoots in their team uniforms. This will mark the first time that we'll get to see the three players in their full uniform.
