2015 Ravens Depth Chart: Defensive Line

The roster preview continues with a look at the defensive front.

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports

The Players: Brandon Williams, Timmy Jernigan, Carl Davis, Chris Canty, Brent Urban, Kapron Lewis Moore, DeAngelo Tyson, Casey Walker, Lawrence Guy, Christo Bilukidi.

Guaranteed:

Brandon Williams

Williams is the best defensive tackle on the team and will now take over as leader of the defensive line with Haloti Ngata gone. He's guaranteed to be on the roster.

Timmy Jernigan

Jernigan started to break out when Haloti was gone next year and he will get a chance to build on that in 2015, as he will now be a full-time starter on defense.

Carl Davis

Davis has the potential to be the steal of the draft. No way he isn't on the team.

Probables:

Chris Canty

Canty is the only defensive lineman above the age of 26. He provides veteran leadership. And his contract makes it detrimental for the Ravens to cut him in 2015.

Brent Urban

The Ravens are incredibly high on Urban and it's hard to see them cutting the 2014 4th round pick without giving him a chance to show his stuff.

Fighting For A Job:

These five guys are fighting for two spots, at most.

DeAngelo Tyson

Tyson was on the inactive list for solid stretches of the 2014 season. He could end up losing his job to a younger tackle if they shine in camp.

Kapron Lewis-Moore

Lewis-Moore has spent the past two seasons on Injured Reserve. His job is far from a guarantee.

Christo Bilukidi

Bilukidi spent most of the season on Injured Reserve. He could be cut if he doesn't show any special skills.

Lawrence Guy and Casey Walker.

Both of these guys are expendable rotation players.
