With the 176th overall pick the Ravens select Offensive Guard Robert Myers out of Tennessee State.
Myers is 6'5" and 326 pounds.
Myers has good lower body strength and good footwork. He has good hustle and rushes to make blocks at the second level.
He needs to gain muscle in the upper body and does need to develop his skill in the zone blocking scheme, but he should have plenty of time to gain muscle and learn while he waits behind Kelechi Osemele, Marshal Yanda, John Urschel, and Ryan Jensen. He could end up replacing Yanda or Osemele after 2015 if the Ravens can't reach deals with them.
Myers visited the Ravens at the Senior Bowl and is a personal favorite of Offensive Line Coach Juan Castillo. He also had a private workout with the Ravens.
