With the 123rd overall pick, the Baltimore Ravens selected Defensive End Za'Darius Smith out of the University of Kentucky.

At 6'4" and 274 Smith adds some muscle as well as depth to the Ravens defensive line. He is good against the run and plays with his hand in the ground at defensive end, so he could be a very good replacement for Pernell McPhee.

Smith could project to outside linebacker, as he said that he feels more comfortable playing at five technique at the combine.

Smith visited the Ravens at the NFL Combine and was the Defensive MVP of the East-West Shrine Game.

The Ravens have addressed the front seven with the last two picks in the Draft and it looks like the Ravens have restocked the defensive line after losing Haloti Ngata and Pernell McPhee this offseason.
