The Players: Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub,Bryn Renner
Guaranteed: Joe Flacco
The Ravens have one of the most drama-free quarterback situations in the NFL. Joe Flacco is one of three quarterbacks to start every game since 2008, and he will keep that going this year, as his excellent 2014 season tightens what was an already iron grip on the job of starting quarterback. Flacco will spend the summer building chemistry with his new targets and communicating with new offensive coordinator Marc Trestman and new quarterbacks coach Marty Mornhinweg.
Probable: Matt Schaub
The 12 year veteran will be the first back-up not named Tyrod Taylor since Marc Bulger held the job in 2010, unless he really stinks it up in the preseason or can't master the fine skills of handing the ball off, taking a knee to end the game, or warming Joe's spot on the bench. Schaub will spend the summer trying not to lose to another quarterback from the 2014 crop.
Practice Squad: Bryn Renner
With Wenning gone, Renner will probably ride on the practice squad, barring an amazing preseason from him that makes Schaub expendable, or an amazing preseason from Schaub that gets him traded off to some quarterback needy team (an Ohio based punching bag that just got a makeover comes to mind) for a draft pick.
Gone: Jerry Lovelocke
Don't get too attached to this one. He's a camp arm who will be gone by the time the Ravens trim their roster down to 75 men.
