Hello, you're either on your way home from work or just about wrapping up. Seriously, you could use a mental break. Instead of checking showtimes for Cinderella, why not hop into this time machine and journey with me to hypothetical....land?
Buckle up.
Here's our (for now) final 53-man roster:
Offense
Quarterbacks (2): Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub Analysis: Trestman will set Bryn Renner free. (Sorry, Bryn.) Flacco's invincible durability with Schaub the Lob behind him? Shaub-gun?
Runningbacks (5): Justin Forsett, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Kyle Juszczyk, Kiero Small, Javorius Allen Analysis: The two rookies, fullback Small (Arkansas) and Allen (USC), dazzle this offseason and leave Trestman no choice but to cut Fitzgerald Toussaint.
Tight ends (3): Dennis Pitta, Crockett Gillmore, Maxx Williams Analysis: In order to play tight end for the Ravens, your first name, as well as your last, must contain one letter at least twice. Not knowing Pitta's status with the team is making me disillusioned.
Wide receivers (6): Steve Smith Sr., Marlon Brown, Breshad Perriman, Michael Campanaro, Darren Waller, Kamar Aiken Analysis: Not only does that look great on paper, it felt that way coming off my 100 wpm-typing fingertips. I preached before the 2015 NFL Draft that the Ravens would pounce on a thick, full-body wideout. I know I wrote Devin Funchess would thrive here, but hey--we went with Perriman. No complaints. Sorta.
Offensive line (9): Jeremy Zuttah, Marshal Yanda, Kelechi Osemele, Rick Wagner, John Urschel, James Hurst, Robert Myers (R), Marcel Jones, Jah Reid Analysis: Discussing the what if's and who if's for the offensive line is especially frustrating due to the lack of access to their health records. Osemele, Reid and Rackley are highly prone to re-aggravating their previous injuries.
Tomorrow we will predict the final outcomes of the defensive and special teams depth chart! Get home safely.
