According to Ravens Insider Aaron Wilson, rookie receiver Breshad Perriman has received the number 18 to wear on his jersey. Perriman wore the number 11 on his jersey but that is already taken by veteran wide receiver and fellow University of Central Florida alum Kamar Aiken.
Perriman was selected by the Baltimore Ravens with their 26th overall pick in the first round. The 22nd wide receiver drafted by the Ravens, Perriman gets to compete for a starting spot immediately and offer up his elite speed for quarterback Joe Flacco to throw deep to.
The number 18 has also been worn by Donte Stallworth and Elvis Grbac. Let's hope he's better than both of those guys.
