The first round had some highly rated players slip out. Some due to off-field concerns and flags and some due to runs on other positions. Just how far will these prospects fall is anyone's guess at this point.
Dorial Green-Beckham
Beckham was rated highly by mockers, with some ranking him as the best wide receiver in the draft. However character concerns and the fact that he hasn't played organized football in over a year took him out of the first. We'll keep watching to see how far he falls.
Randy Gregory
The pass rusher out of Nebraska fell out of the first round, despite being rated as a top ten pick, due to his marijuana concerns. He will likely be a day two pick.
Jaelen Strong
The wide receiver out of Arizona State was viewed as a late first rounder, but fell behind Breshad Perriman and Phillip Dorsett. He will probably go in the early second round.
La'el Collins
The offensive tackle from LSU was projected to be going in the middle of the first round but his recent legal concerns will make him fall in the draft and some say that he is undraftable unless exonerated.
Jalen Collins
The cornerback out of LSU was mocked as a late first rounder, and was sometimes linked to the Ravens. His inexperience probably kept teams from seeing him as a first rounder. His name should be called in the second round this evening.
Landon Collins
The safety from Alabama was rated as the best safety in this class and was projected to go in the late teens/ early twenties. He was passed over and the only safety taken was Damarious Randall by the Green Bay Packers. Collins should hear his name called today.
