Update 10:45PM:

D.J. Swearinger had confirmed that his dog was the one that bit Jadeveon Clowney. I'm sure the Texans would rather have him out of town with that information. Thought this is all speculation at this point.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Texans are reportedly looking to deal safety D.J. Swearinger.

The safety was selected by the Texans in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft with the 57th overall pick. As Rapoport mentioned, the young safety has started nearly every game over the first 2 seasons, which is impressive.

It is not really known what the Texans are looking for in return for their safety, but I'd be guessing that because he is a young player and there could be some competition for him, that the Texans are asking for a 3rd or 4th round pick for the player. That might be enticing for a Ravens team that is still hoping that their young safeties Matt Elam and Terrence Brooks grow into their positions. A late round pick might be a good backup plan for very little risk.

The Ravens are not directly tied to Swearinger, but before the draft, the Ravens and Swearinger were an interesting fit together. Baltimoreravens.com had done a story about the South Carolina safety and how he modeled his game after Ravens greats Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.

"Ray Lewis first and foremost," he responded. "Ed Reed would have to be my second choice."

"I would see myself fitting right in with the Ravens," he said. "Losing their leader like Ray Lewis, I consider myself a leader first and foremost so I think I would go right in and be a defensive leader and get in well with the playbook and get right."

Would you take a look at Swearinger if you were Ozzie? What would you be willing to give up for him
