Ravens cancel Draft Party

Out of respect to the city of Baltimore and the curfew in place, the Baltimore Ravens have cancelled their Thursday night Draft Party.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

As we have covered here at Baltimore Beatdown, the rioting and burning still continues in Baltimore. With the National Guard being brought out in force and curfew going into effect tonight, the city is in for a tough time to calm things down and begin the process of rebuilding.

Due to the safety of civilians and protesters, there have been a lot of businesses and plans that are being either postponed or cancelled all together. People are getting off from work, schools are closing for the day and people are generally staying away from a city that is making national and international headlines.

So it goes as no surprise that the Baltimore Ravens would follow suite and cancel their Draft Party, which was scheduled for Thursday (4/30) at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Ravens have announced that all of those fans that have already purchased tickets, automatic refunds will be issued via the method of purchase. If you have any questions, you can contact the Ravens' ticket office at 410-261-RAVE (7283) - Just note that the ticket office is closing at 2PM today due to the issues in the city as well.
