According to multiple reports, the NFL is going to be opening the 2015 NFL season by having the New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 1.

The league is supposed to officially reveal the 2015 schedule today at 8PM, but is seeing a few of the games be leaked early in anticipation of the official announcement. If this matchup is true, it would start the season off with a bang and could have long lasting effects on the AFC Playoff race.

In one of the lesser interesting keynotes to this game, this marks the reunion of former Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount to the team that cut him over issues of immaturity and lack of a team-first attitude. Blount had the last laugh as he was able to go on and get a Super Bowl ring last season, but will see both him and Le'Veon Bell suspended for the game if their suspensions are upheld by the league.

Still, it should be an interesting game to start the season with. As little as the Ravens like both teams, it should be a good game full of big hits and plenty of disgust from Ravens fans regardless of who wins. Maybe a tie?
