Chris Canty's time away from the Ravens didn't last long.
On Wednesday, the Ravens announced that Canty has re-signed with the organization.

Bringing Canty back ensures that the defensive line will still have a veteran presence in the locker room. Canty, 32, still played at a high-enough level to prove he can be a factor moving forward in this league.
"We talked weeks ago about the possibility of Chris coming back, and we are happy he is," general manager Ozzie Newsome said in a statement.
In two seasons with the Ravens, Canty recorded 63 tackles, 2.5 sacks, six pass deflections and three forced fumbles.
Canty's deal is worth $4.65 million, though is more like a one-year deal since the Ravens can decide to pick up or decline an option for 2016.

The Ravens have done this in the past where they'll release a guy and then bring him back. This was something Newsome and the front office did with Canty and now he's once again back in the fold.
