The Ravens are interested in the one they call "Pot Roast."
According to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson, the Ravens are among the suitors for former Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton. However, the report gives some cause for hesitation as Knighton's asking price has been rather high early in free agency.
The Ravens are currently at $9.8 million under the salary cap at the moment.
The Redskins, Colts, Patriots, Seahawks and Raiders have also been linked to Knighton since he became a free agent.
There is a need for the Ravens to find a replacement on the defensive line now that Haloti Ngata has been traded to the Lions. Of course, the consideration would be to find a replacement at an affordable rate. Ngata's $16 million cap figure was too much and the Ravens alleviated $8.5 million of it via the trade. If Knighton's first-year salary is more than half of that, you can bet the Ravens pass on it.
