Jets decline option on Chris Johnson, could Ravens be interested?

A New York Daily News reporter suggested the Ravens could be interested in running back Chris Johnson.

The Jets declined to pick up running back Chris Johnson's option on Saturday, meaning he's now a free agent for teams to consider.

Immediately, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta linked a certain team to Johnson.

A season ago, the Ravens apparently expressed interest in CJ2K CJ0.6K though the depth chart wasn't appealing for Johnson.

After a poor season with the Jets, Johnson is looking at being a backup somewhere, whether it's with the Ravens or elsewhere. But even so, this would likely only hinge on what the Ravens decide to do with Justin Forsett.
