A heartbreaking 13-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins in week 13 that saw some phantom calls get made by the referees brought the Baltimore Ravens to a disappointing 4-8 record. After losing one of their last chances to get their only three-game winning streak of the season, the Ravens change their draft position once again.

After a win against the Cleveland Browns in week 12, the Ravens jumped to the highest spot they have been recently with the 8th overall pick. Looking like they were destined to not make the playoffs, yet not have a top-10 pick in April's NFL Draft, it truly looked like a lost season for the Ravens.
Currently in a seven-way tie at 4-8, the Ravens could theoretically end up out of the top-10 by simply winning on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Or if they continue to lose as they have so far this season, could find themselves with a top-3 spot by the end of the regular season. Right now the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns have a firm grasp on the top pick in the draft with a 2-10 record and a lot of issues at the quarterback position.
The highest spot the Ravens have ever drafted was the fourth overall pick, held in both 1996 and 1997 where they would select left tackle Jonathan Ogden and linebacker Peter Boulware respectively. Within the top-10, the Ravens have never had a bust, as the only player that could come close would be cornerback Duane Starks. Starks would have a three-year career with the Ravens and was an integral part of Baltimore's Super Bowl 35 win against the New York Giants.
