NFL Power Rankings: Week 16

One last regular week folks.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

One final game of the regular season is upon the masses, and with it, the semi-final power-rankings. Stick with it to make your agreements and disagreements.

  1. Arizona Cardinals - With a vicious attack against Green Bay, the Arizona Cardinals fiercely devoured any delicious Wisconsin cheddar left worn on any fans noggin. Accomplishing a first round bye, and Dwight Freeney making another $300,000 in sack money, this team is poised for a very strong play-off run. Now to pray Tampa Bay gives them some leverage to the #1 seed.
  2. Carolina Panthers - The first regular season loss in over 365 days. They played an almost hungover match-up against a division rival. The Falcons did their job, and now they must beat the Buccaneers for entire home-field advantage.
  3. New England Patriots - Every week another play seems to be going down to the injury list. The hope for a healthy squad come bye-week is becoming more worrisome by the day.
  4. Denver Broncos - Brock Osweiler and Co. played a big second half of football after being down 14 points for the third time this season. A redemption field goal from Brandon McManus helped to push Denver over the Dalton-less Bengals. Maybe cause for concern barely squeaking past a back-up quarterback? Regardless, they still have the play-off ticket punched.
  5. Kansas City Chiefs - Starting 1-5 while the Green Bay Packers started 6-0, the Chiefs were simply giving other teams a head start. Nine straight victories punch the play-off stub for the 2015 season, and they couldn't be more excited.
