2016 Pro Bowl Roster: Ravens have only two players voted in

Only two Ravens received the distinguished honor of being named Pro Bowlers.

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

The 2016 Pro Bowl rosters dropped tonight, and surprisingly, only two Raven players were named to receive this distinguished honor.

Marshal Yanda, the Ravens' right guard, received his fifth straight Pro Bowl selection this year.  He's been a cornerstone on the Ravens' offensive line for many years, and any Baltimore fan will tell you that he's very deserving of this honor. Yanda has been regarded as one of the best linemen in football by many, and it shows by his popularity among the fans, who decide which players make up the Pro Bowl rosters.

On special teams, there was a big push to have Sam Koch in the Pro Bowl. It looks like the campaign worked pretty well. Koch was an alternate for the game last year, and it seems as if the general fanbase has become more aware of just what Koch is doing for Baltimore. Koch is leading the league in just about every positive statistical category for punters. Koch is arguably the Ravens' most dangerous offensive weapon, and can singlehandedly change field position with just one swift kick of his leg.

You can watch Yanda and Koch on Sunday, January 31st at 8 PM ET on ESPN. The two will be playing for either 'Team Irvin' or 'Team Rice' in Honolulu, as the NFL is keeping it's 'fantasy draft' format with the two NFL legends serving as managers.

Congratulations to two of our favorite Ravens for earning this special honor and getting the trip of their lives.
