Ravens vs Chiefs week 15: Chiefs' Charcandrick West goes 38 yards for first blood

Eight men in the box and the Baltimore Ravens let Charcandrick West go untouched for 38 yards for the first points of the game.

Hitting the left side of the line, West was able to make a single cut and race through a wide open hole to get to the second level. With only cornerback Jimmy Smith there to make a play, Smith wasn't able to turn on enough afterburners to get there. Sadly for the Ravens, Smith would head to the locker room after straining his hamstring on the play. With the way things have gone this season, it could be the last play for Smith this season.

Neither team is an offensive Juggernaut this season, but few people expected the Chiefs to score with such ease. Then again, if it weren't for a Timmy Jernigan personal foul, the Chiefs would have had to punt a few plays prior. Jernigan ended up hitting Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith out of bounds, giving Kansas City a first down and a lot of yards.

If the Ravens can stop shooting themselves in the foot, this game might be closer than many fans think.
