With one of the weirdest and most entertaining ends to a game this season between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens have seriously hurt their chances at getting the top pick in April's NFL Draft.
Going from an 8.66% chance at the first overall pick, the Ravens won against fellow bottom dweller Cleveland Browns. That win just about secured the first pick for the Browns, while pushing the Ravens up to the 8th overall pick currently and giving them only a 1.24% chance at the number one pick.
As of right now, our buddies at NumberFire have the projected top-10 picks. Our Baltimore Ravens sit at number six overall, still in a good spot, but not quite the top-3 fans were expecting and hoping for as the season went sour.
Here are the projected Top 10 picks:
- Cleveland Browns
- Tennessee Titans
- Dallas Cowboys
- San Diego Chargers
- San Francisco 49ers
- Baltimore Ravens
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- New Orleans Saints
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Miami Dolphins
Fans were hoping to get within the top few picks in the 2016 NFL Draft for either a cornerback, pass rusher, or even a wide receiver as the team has those few spots as their biggest holes right now. The favorite names before the Scouting Combine have been Joey Bosa, Jalen Ramsey, and Vernon Hargreaves. With the Ravens projecting outside of the top-5, they might not get a hand on any of those expected top players.
