If you are reading this article, it means you are probably in the thick of the race, either trying to make the playoffs and/or improve your standings, or heading into the first round of your fantasy playoffs.
Tim Hightower, RB, New Orleans Saints
With Mark Ingram out for the season, the question was whether Hightower or Spiller would get the bulk of the carries. After one week, the answer is pretty clear: Spiller's role hasn't changed, and Hightower took over Ingram's role in the offense. The team might throw a little more with Hightower out there instead of Ingram, but overall Hightower is a starting caliber running back. He played over 90% of the snaps this past week. In an auction league, he is worth your whole remaining budget.
Tyler Lockett, WR, Seattle Seahawks
The rookie receiver had already strung together a few good weeks before the week 14 matchup with the Ravens, but his game against the Ravens was stellar. He has been getting regular targets each week, and with the offense clicking and all cylinders Lockett is a solid #2 on the Seahawks after Doug Baldwin.
Zach Miller, TE, Chicago Bears
Usually there is not a tight end of this caliber on the waiver wire this late in the season, but with Martellus Bennett in and out of the lineup the past few months, Miller was not a sure thing. Now with Bennett officially done for the season, Miller has stability and has really come on strong the past few weeks.
Any Seattle Seahawks RB
It is hard to know who is going to be the main player going forward here, with Thomas Rawls our for the season. So who will be the injury replacement for the injury replacement? DuJuan Harris and Fred Jackson split carries against the Ravens, but the likelihood is the team will add a player at the position. Bryce Brown, who was released by the team earlier this year was already added, and my money is on him.
Good luck all in the fantasy playoffs!
