The Baltimore Ravens are signing quarterback Ryan Mallett who was released by the Houston Texans earlier this season and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the 2011 NFL draft.
Ryan Mallett will be signing with the Baltimore Ravens per sources

Mallett has been seen by many people as someone who has the arm strength to be a solid quarterback but his emotions get the best of him. He will need to change that as he might run out of chances quickly.
Mallett will be on the Ravens 53 man roster as the team has starting quarterback Joe Flacco on injured reserve and backup quarterback Matt Schaub is dealing with a chest injury. Before the Ravens signed Mallett, they only had two healthy starting quarterbacks in Bryn Renner and Jimmy Clausen who started against the Seattle Seahawks in week 14.
The Ravens at 4-9 are officially eliminated from playoff contention and are just trying to salvage what is left in a season filled with injuries and bad breaks going against them mainly in the officiating column.
