Ravens versus Seahawks. AFC defensive juggernaut against NFC defensive juggernaut. It was a matchup that I'm sure many were circling on their calenders and anxiously waiting for. It was even going to be Sunday's featured game.
But all of that changed. The Ravens the Seahawks will face this Sunday is far from the team they thought would be lining up against them. Without their starting quarterback, running back, or wide receiver, the Ravens are a like a shell of their former selves. On the other hand, the Seahawks also happen to look drastically different than they did at the beginning of the season. The team from the Pacific Northwest is on fire of late, amassing a three-game win streak with their quarterback firing on all cylinders, and their defense shutting down the opposition.
Simply put, this one is going to be pretty lopsided, and it's no wonder why NBC decided to flex this matchup out of their esteemed "Sunday Night Football" slot.
