The Baltimore Ravens with their wild 33-27 victory in week 12 against the Cleveland Browns has the Ravens two games out of the final playoff spot in the AFC as they currently have a 4-7 record.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is showing why he is a top five head coach with all of the injuries the Ravens have sustained with 17 players on injured reserve and now the Ravens are trying to make a run with five games left with a backup quarterback in Matt Schaub leading the way.
Despite how this season has turned out for the Ravens, this has to be one of the more impressive seasons this team has had in terms of dealing with adversity. The Ravens have every reason to look towards next year with the close losses that they have dealt with, the injuries and the questionable penalties called against them all season long. The Ravens really go by the mantra of next man up.
The lack of quit in the Ravens will not only make them a dangerous team to deal with regardless of their record, but it will also increase their chances of a bounce back season in 2016. This season isn't over yet and it will be very interesting to see what the Ravens can do from here on out.
The Ravens final five games are against the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals in order. Every opponent for the Ravens is in for a fight.
