Reinforcements coming on the defensive line

The defensive line for the Ravens is one of the stronger units, led by Brandon Williams. Carl Davis, Timmy Jernigan, Chris Canty, and Lawrence Guy are all contributing, so the return of Brent Urban, while not urgent, is still good news.

The second year defensive end has yet to play a regular season game as a Raven, but it looks like he is nearing a return:

The Ravens must have thought highly of the Urban, as they chose to use the 'to return' designation for him rather than save it for another player, or use it on safety Matt Elam, who was thought to have a similar return range. Among the players who the Ravens could have used the designation on if they had saved it are Michael Campanaro, Terrell Suggs (if he would be ready),  Lorenzo Taliaferro, and others.

The Ravens hope that Urban will be able to contribute upon his return, and she should return to practice soon. This team can use all the help they can get, as backup lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore and Christo Bilukidi did not live up to their pre-season hype. Bilukidi is no longer with the team.
