The Ravens lost the soul of the offense just a few weeks ago when Steve Smith, Sr. went down.
Now they've lost the heart of the entire team, their quarterback.
It has just been confirmed that quarterback Joe Flacco tore his ACL in the final minutes of today's game. Flacco was rolled up underneath by his own guy, and could barely walk off the field during the final plays of the game.

The Ravens' backup to Flacco is Matt Schaub, the tenured veteran.
UPDATE: Early indications are that Flacco tore both his ACL and MCL. It is far too early to discuss his future, but a return to begin 2016 isn't impossible at this point.
Flacco said he still needs to get MRI but believes both ACL and MCL are torn. "I'm still in shock a little bit," Flacco said.
