The best safety in NFL history will be officially become a Ring of Honor member this Sunday, taking the field during half-time against the St. Louis Rams. Ed Reed, the nine-time Pro Bowler will be joining eight other franchise members for the Baltimore Ravens, and eight members originally from the Baltimore Colts.
When discussing his Ring of Honor induction, #20 had this to say, "Home is here. Home has always been Baltimore. My heart has always been in Baltimore. It will always be in Baltimore and at M&T Bank Stadium." (Garrett Downing, baltimoreravens.com)
Clearly Ed still loves this football squad, as he so dearly deserves after 11 straight years with the franchise. In that time the man accomplished every feat a safety could, and then some extras. Without knowing his passion, his resume clearly shows why the man deserves to be remembered forever.

This won't be his last stop in professional football, because come 2019 Canton will be voting on the Hall of Fame class, and undoubtedly the best safety in history will walk through those doors, and slip on the gold jacket.
