The Ravens have been blessed with an absolutely amazing wide receiver for the past two seasons, and with this achilles tear they may have witnessed the final snap of his illustrious career.
Harbaugh: Steve Smith has suffered an achilles tear and will be out for the rest of the season.

Steve Smith Sr. is done for season, and with that, the Baltimore Ravens season is also officially over. This man has been the absolute passion, fire, and drive for the club through the complete and utter heartbreak of a season. His playmaking ability has been bar none the best of the franchise the past two seasons, and also some can argue tops in the league. With 4 broken bones in his back he still played with more passion and fire than any cornerback attempting to contain him. His explosiveness kept him better than metrics could measure. Absolutely heart-wrenching folks.
