New Raven CB Will Davis shines in his debut

The Ravens first big move of the season looks like a winner so far...

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Following a disappointing 0-3 start to the season, Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome worked the phones, looking to improve his team. The team agreed to send a 7th rounder to the Miami Dolphins for cornerback Will Davis, putting cornerbacks Kyle Arrington, Rashaan Melvin, and Lardarius Webb on notice.

Davis made his debut this past Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, splitting snaps in the slot with Webb and Arrington. Davis played 23 snaps, including several nice plays on All-Pro Antonio Brown.

Here is what some in the media had to say following the game:

Davis looks to be a welcome addition to the Ravens secondary, and the hope is he can continue to bring a high level of play to the Ravens. The Dolphins fans seem to already be lamenting his departure. Their loss is our gain!
