Mike Ditka shows his class on Monday Night Countdown

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

With the continuous losing feelings going around in Baltimore these days, and the somber mood around the team and its fans, here is a little something to lighten the mood. Former player and coach Mike Ditka might not be the best at expressing himself verbally, but he found another way to comment this past week during the Monday night Countdown.

Although I am unsure of on-air protocol, I am guessing leaning over and letting one rip live on camera is not recommended. The expression of his co-host is priceless, as he clearly did not enjoy Ditka's contribution to the conversation there. I am guessing he might be requesting a new on-air partner for this coming week- I know I would.

Next time, Mike Ditka, keep your non-verbal commentary to yourself. Like my mother always taught me- if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
