The Baltimore Ravens elevated RB Terrence Magee from their practice squad to the 53-man roster and waived CB Charles James II, general manager/executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced today.
Magee, an UDFA, has spent the past three weeks on the team's practice squad, and is likely being called up so the Ravens can roster three backs this Sunday. That's assuming that Justin Forsett is a scratch.
Charles James III is a surprising cut. With the retooling of the secondary, one would hope that there is a place on the roster for him. If there's a place for Asa Jackson, then certainly there's one for James, right?
Apparently not. I expect this to be the beginning of many moves for the Ravens.
