When you think that things can't get much worse for the Baltimore Ravens currently sitting at 1-4 with 2 divisional losses on the season and a host of injuries at pretty much every position, we get breaking news that yet another player is heading to the sideline for the season.
#Ravens CB Will Davis, who has impressed since he was traded from #Dolphins, tore his ACL, source said. Another tough blow for Baltimore

The Ravens acquired cornerback Will Davis from the Miami Dolphins for a 6th round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft after the ineffectiveness of the Ravens other corners through the first few games of the season. Despite coming onto the roster late and not having the time to mesh fully with the personnel, playbook or even the Ravens' way of doing things, Davis quickly picked things up and looked good.
Hurt during a play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, a game that the Ravens would drop in overtime 33-30, Davis was set to not return for the remainder of the game. Afterwards, it was rumored that his knee injury was serious, but with no further information. Now hearing that Davis has torn his ACL, it puts the Baltimore Ravens even further behind the eight ball on a secondary that has yet to be able to stop anyone this season.
What makes this worse for the Ravens is that they are so limited on cap funds right now, that the thought of adding a veteran is a fairly slim chance.
Ravens only presently have ~$1.5M in Cap space. Will Davis going on IR & being replaced on 53 is going 2 eat into that already meager amount
