Ah, in a little over 24 hours from now the Baltimore Ravens will go toe-to-toe with a team that's waaay over-rested, a quarterback that's not mentally ready for our pass rush and a franchise owned by a man who makes you think about macaroni and cheese every time he, Robert Kraft, is mentioned.
In a perfect world the purple-and-black will crumple the Patriots tomorrow, play the winner of the Colts-Broncos game (hopefully the Broncos) next Sunday, and then rest two full weeks before playing the victor of the NFC Conference Championship.
My fingers are crossed with hope to watch the Panthers ride the magic carpet (or Ms. Frizzle's school bus), to Glendale, Ariz. I would pay half of my monthly salary (not much) to buy that classic photo of the Panthers kneeling before Steve Smith Sr. as the confetti rains down.
The chances are slimmer than Ashley Olsen's waist.
It's time to take a vote. Who do YOU want to see the Ravens play in this year's Super Bowl?
