Report: Ravens linebacker Arthur Brown subject of trade talks

Are the Ravens taking offers for linebacker Arthur Brown?

Douglas Jones-USA TODAY Sports

Inside linebacker Arthur Brown was a healthy scratch this past Sunday and very well could be again when the Ravens play the Steelers this Thursday.

However, will Brown, taken in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft, even be on the Ravens for that much longer if that's the case?

According to ESPN's Adam Caplan, the Ravens could be putting Brown on the trading block.

Shortly after, The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson had a different report, tweeting the Ravens would be more likely to keep Brown on board for the time being.

Sources indicate Ravens linebacker Arthur Brown extremely unlikely to be traded, but he's a popular target for teams because of his talent
— Aaron Wilson (@RavensInsider) September 9, 2014

So what's the answer? Probably somewhere in the middle. He's probably the subject of trade talks. But the Ravens probably aren't actively pursuing a trade.

This sounds like a situation where Brown could be traded if the price is right.
