After a stellar Week 4 performance against the New Orleans Saints, Fitzgerald Toussaint was not forgotten by the Ravens' coaching staff and front office.
Even though he was cut at the end of the preseason, the Ravens have decided to bring back Toussaint to the 53-man roster, according to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson. Earlier on Saturday, the Ravens announced that cornerback Derek Cox had been released.

Linebacker Josh Bynes seemed to be a realistic option to bring back up, making Toussaint's addition a bit of a surprise. The Ravens already have Bernard Pierce, Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro available for the game. He had 103 yards on 17 carries in that Week 4 preseason game against the Saints.
The Ravens could be planning a run-heavy attack. But Toussaint may also be someone the Ravens could look at for special teams. However, it's unknown if he'll be active on the 46-man roster at this time.
