Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti will hold a press conference today at 4 p.m., presumably to address the ESPN Outside the Lines report claiming the organization knew of the Ray Rice videotape published by TMZ earlier this month.
The report, written by Kevin Van Valkenburg and Don Van Natta Jr., alleges how the Ravens decided to approach the Rice situation, beginning in February when the running back was arrested. According to the report, the franchise knew the contents of the tape — which shows Rice punching his now-wife Janay Rice in the face — but decided not to release him, and instead, engaged in a cover up what he did with hopes that the tape would never surface to the public.
The Ravens have denied the allegations, stating that the story "contains numerous errors, inaccuracies, false assumptions and, perhaps, misunderstandings."
With the ESPN report out there, we'll now get Bisciotti's reply to it. The presser will be streamed live on BaltimoreRavens.com.
