Matthew Stevens: The Browns surprise the Ravens by being able to run the ball effectively but lack of confidence from Hoyer stalls them in the red zone forcing them to kick field goals. Meanwhile the Ravens use their shorter opportunities to march down the field and punch the ball in. The game is a lot closer than the score indicates. Prediction:
Ravens 27, Browns 12.
Chuck Mills: After having to deal with the likes of A.J. Green and Antonio Brown, the Ravens secondary gets a break as they go up against the likes of a geriatric Miles Austin, Andrew Hawkins, and a hobbled Jordan Cameron, if he plays at all. The Ravens will allow a rushing touchdown, but will otherwise play stout defense against the Browns. Joe Flacco will take advantage of added attention to Torrey Smith and hit Steve Smith Sr. and Dennis Pitta for touchdowns. Lorenzo Taliaferro will score a touchdown in place of an injured Bernard Pierce. Prediction: Ravens 24, Browns 10.
Jason Butt: The Ravens' secondary has been a pleasant surprise, even without Lardarius Webb present for the first two games. Given the probable designation, Webb will be good to go, which will make things difficult on Brian Hoyer and the Cleveland passing game. The Browns' defense has been burned a bit this year, with the Ravens riding some momentum on that side of the ball following their win over Pittsburgh last week. Prediction: Ravens 27, Browns 17
