We've heard plenty about offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's new look offense, but now we've finally been able to see what it can do.
Man, wasn't it pretty?
The running game perfectly set up a balanced passing attack by quarterback Joe Flacco in his first and only series of the night. Flacco completed passes to four different receivers (could've been five but the Ravens took an offside penalty instead of a Ray Rice reception), with the series endin in a Bernard Pierce two-yard rushing touchdown. Even more impressive was a monster block by guard Marshall Yanda that left him five yards deep in the end zone.
After a horrific offensive season in 2013, this small sample gives fans something to look forward to once the games start to matter. It appears to fit the players perfectly, showing off Kyle Juszczyk's athleticism and allowing smaller offensive lineman to use speed and spring running lanes.
Well done, Ravens. Well done.
