The Facts: Would you believe me, this time last year, if I said hat Nick Foles would have his jersey next to Peyton Manning's in the Hall of Fame and throw 27 touchdowns and two interceptions? Of course not, because you wouldn't know who Nick Foles is.
This year I don't expect Foles to get that 27-2 TD-INT ratio, it's just the law of averages. He will throw more than two picks in 2014. That being said, I still believe that Foles is the best quarterback in the NFC East and I still believe the Eagles are the team to beat in the division. The Eagles have a good offensive line to keep Foles upright and pave the way for LeSean McCoy.
While they got rid of a quality No. 1 in DeSean Jackson, they still have a stable group of receivers in Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews (who can develop into a No. 1) and Josh Huff. James Casey, Zach Ertz, Brent Celek and Darren Sproles are threats in the passing game, too. To make a long story short the Eagles should have plenty of nice weapons in the passing game.
Defensively the Eagles should go upwards and that is the thing that held them back in 2013,and if it improves they can become legitimate contenders.
Predicted Record: 11-5. Wins against Jaguars, Titans, Texans, Panthers, Rams, Redskins (x2), Cowboys (x2) and Giants (x2).
