The Ravens figure to have an open roster spot when Brent Urban (torn ACL) hits the injured reserve list.
One option to fill that position may be tight en Steve Maneri, who tried out for the Ravens, according to The Baltimore Sun's Aaron Wilson.

A free agent, Maneri has bounced around NFL rosters since entering the league undrafted in 2010. He's spent time with the Texans, Patriots, Chiefs, Bears and Buccaneers. Most recently, he was with Tampa Bay from a period from this past February to May.
He saw game action in four games with the Bears last season.
Maneri is huge for the tight end position at 6-7, 270 pounds. He entered the NFL as an offensive tackle, so he'd figure to be more of the blocking tight end variety.
At this point, someone like Maneri would be considered a camp body if signed.
