In advance of Saturday's final cut-down day, the Baltimore Ravens have waived five players.
Not making this year's 53-man roster are defensive tackle Levi Brown, defensive tackle Derrick Hopkins, tight end Nathan Overbay, outside linebacker D.J. Roberts and center Reggie Stephens.
Hopkins figured to have the best shot of this group though he had a lot of quality depth ahead of him. The rookie out of Virginia Tech did receive a $10,000 signing bonus in May, which was the highest out of all of those that went undrafted.
This puts the Ravens roster at 70 players, with the organization needing to cut down to 53 players by Saturday. Though most spots are filled, there are definitely a few that might still be up for discussion.
