The lone injury sustained in Saturday night's Ravens preseason win came to Bernard Pierce, after Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather delivered a high hit to the running back's helmet.

Pierce had to leave the game due to concussion-like symptoms.

On Sunday, Pierce, who is set to start the first two games oft he regular season due to a suspension levied to Ray Rice, tweeted that he's OK following the injury.

Concussions aren't anything to mess with and Pierce will have to go through the mandated NFL protocol before he can participate in contact again. The good news for Pierce is that he has all the way until Sept. 7 to get that clearance. It may be wise for the Ravens to rest him against New Orleans this Thursday as a precautionary measure.
