On Ray Rice: "Ray Rice is kind of an interesting topic because before this he was doing just great things out in the community, especially with bullying awareness. And unfortunately he had the incident that he had, which seems to be more of an oversight than anything else, and something that both he and his wife are sorry for. The Ravens seem to be sticking with him. They came out in the offseason after the incident and said, look, he's our guy, he's sorry for what he did — and it's not a good thing to be doing — but we're going to ride forward with him because we think it's an outlier."
On Rolando McClain: "To be honest with you, as a Baltimore fan and a Baltimore writer, I wish I could tell you more about Rolando. He came to Baltimore, a lot of fans were excited about him. He got into a little bit of trouble with the law in that first season and then retired. Then he came back, failed his conditioning test and that's pretty much all we've heard out of him so far. A lot of promise out of him. If you've ever followed his career, the guy's got all the talent in the world but he can't seem to back it up with a good work ethic and continuing it on the field himself."
