Ryan Jones was waived by the team after his injury. The linebacker from Montana Tech signed with the Ravens on an undrafted free agent contract on May 13th.
The young player came out of Montana Tech after 127 tackles, 10.5 sacks and an interception in two seasons. While Jones was a long shot to make the 53 man roster, you never like to see a player get injured. However, the injury settlement is likely going to be Jones' biggest payday of the season.
Aaron Wilson is reporting on Twitter about Jones being waived:

When Jones was signed by the Ravens, his former coach had this to say
We are really proud of Ryan. This is something he worked really hard for and it is a great opportunity for continuing his playing career.
Good luck to Jones as he is able to rehab his injury and sign with another club
