The Ravens currently hold $4.3M in estimated cap space, the cheapest figure in the AFC North and eighth lowest in the League.
Now that they’ve survived their free agency splurge and safely made it to the shores of signing players without affecting the compensatory pick formula—the team can use this time to bolster the roster.
Mike Florio of PFT wrote this morning, "Don’t be shocked if the Ravens, who still don’t have a clear plan at right tackle, give [Eric] Winston a look-see."
Winston, the name that I've seen the most attached to the Ravens in the last week, spent the first six seasons of his career playing under Gary Kubiak in Houston and could figure to push for the starting job if Ricky Wagner or Ryan Jensen aren't ready.
With the amount of cap space the Ravens have left, they could also consider signing a cornerback like Asante Samuels or Dunta Robinson to one or two-year deals to bring healthy competition and strengthen their depth chart.
Edit: We updated from $5.5 to $4.3 - Spotrac didn't have everything in there yet.
