Ravens running back Ray Rice and his wife Janay Rice were at the league headquarters on Park Avenue in New York today. It was expected that Rice would have to meet with league officials including commissioner Roger Goodell to answer questions about the assault incident from back in February.

The Ravens running back is expected to be suspended even though he was accepted into a pretrial diversionary program that will keep him away from trial and a possible jail sentence. We've talked ad naseum about Rice's likely suspension including how long it is expected he will miss, but estimates range from one game all the way to six with some football fans calling for a full season suspension.
The incident in question was reported to be both Ray and Janay Rice hitting each other in an Atlantic City casino. However the damning evidence that surfaced was a video of Ray Rice carrying his unconscious fiance from the elevator, which could ultimately sway the suspension decision to be harsher given the public outrage of the incident and following press conference.
We will likely hear something soon about any league judgment against Rice and his punishment.
