Baltimore Ravens' own Kyle Juszczyk, Jacoby Jones and Justin Tucker were all on The Today Show while running up and down 10,000 stairs at M&T Bank Stadium as part of Today's 'Shine a Light' program.
The three Baltimore Ravens players were joined by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, The Today Show and hundreds of Ravens' fans to run up and down the stairs at the Ravens' stadium as an effort to work on public health in Baltimore. Today selected Baltimore in part because the high rates of diabetes and obesity as well as the low life expectancy of some inner-city neighborhoods due in part from a lack of exercise.
Some of the highlights included fullback Kyle Juszczyk lifting up the Today Show correspondent above his head like she was a balloon. Wide receiver and general funnyman Jacoby Jones jokingly about-faced the camera to go join his teammates and fans in the run. Stephanie Rawlings-Blake seemed less sure of wanting to run given the daunting number of steps.
