The Ravens linebacker group is largely unproven but has one of the highest ceilings, making the motley unit one to watch in 2014, per SB Nation’s Danny Kelly.
Kelly’s praise is another to hit the Ravens hype lines after he gave the ‘damn good’ defensive line props a week ago.
"The Ravens' inside linebacker group has one of the highest ceilings in the NFL, but is still largely unproven. The thought of a C.J. Mosley - Arthur Brown combination is intriguing, and Daryl Smith is a quality player in the middle as well. This is a unit to watch."
While it is upsetting to see the Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacking corps ahead on the list as "Contenders for the Crown," Ravens fans could easily remind their division rivals that their [Baltimore’s] defense ranked in the Top 5 for rushing touchdowns allowed (7), and not an acrid 18.
Cleveland failed to make Kelly’s cuts, and the Bengals deservedly took the ‘damn good’ label in a category above the Steelers.
As I mentioned earlier, the gamut of Baltimore’s coveted standups are mouthwatering, eye candy. So go ahead, continue to stare.
