This offseason has seen plenty of black eyes off the field, highlighted by four arrests, with one of them being a fairly serious issue with Ray Rice's assault charges.
Most recently, rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro was arrested for breaking the window of a taxi cab in Virginia. It's to the point where John Harbaugh has probably already gone through a year's supply of extra-strength Tylenol. On Thursday, he spoke to the media about the character issues plaguing his team this offseason.
“First of all, you have to understand that you may be 22, 23, 25, 26, but it’s not like your 22 and 23-year-old buddies,” Harbaugh said, via BaltimoreRavens.com's Garrett Downing. “You’re not in the same position they’re in. You have to grow up faster than your pals. You can’t go home and run around with your pals and think that you’re in the same place that they’re in. It’s a privilege to have a job like this.
By this point, we all know that Torrey Smith is Baltimore's No. 1 receiver.
So who's No. 2? Or does No. 2 even matter when you have a receiver group with enough complementary pieces behind Smith? Russell Street Report's Mike Fast takes a look at the other receiving targets to see which guy Joe Flacco will be looking at second during his progressions on Sundays.
As many have also predicted, defensive tackle Brandon Williams is a candidate for breakout player of the year, writes Purple Reign Show's Will Grabill.
