Ravens Celebrity Kickball Classic

Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen Maryland was host to wide receiver Marlon Brown and safety Matt Elam for their first ever Celebrity Kickball Classic. All proceeds from the friendly game went to the Wounded Warrior Project, a great charity with great timing given the Memorial Day weekend.

Brown and Elam had local celebrities like Baltimore Blast's Denison Cabral, linebacker Crystal Gargani from the Baltimore Charm, retired WWE professional wrestler Nikolai Volkoff, former Maryland Terp basketball player Rodney Elliot and MMA coach/businessman John Rallo join them. In addition to the local celebrities, they had fellow Ravens players like long snapper Morgan Cox, defensive linemen Kapron Lewis-Moore and Brandon Williams, safety Brynden Trawick and even former Raven defensive end Arthur Jones.

The teams were obviously spearheaded by both Marlon Brown and Matt Elam individually, with Matt Elam winning on the day's fun little contest, something the defense has typically done over the offense in Ravens' history. It's good to see Ravens players out, having fun for a good cause and making some positive PR news lately.
